Islam-religion of Submission

Islam stems from the root word silm which means peace tru submission and the word Islam means submission and obeidience, in this case it means total submission and obedience to Allah (God) and His commands in peace and sincerity. A true Muslim is a humble servant of Allah who suppresses his desires to sin, in order to please his Creator. Regarding this Allah says in the Quran, 'enter into submission completely and do not follow the whispers of Satan,' That is why modern people can't understand Muslims, because modern life is indulging in sin and fulfilling desires while Islam is the opposite of this. Islam is not a religion but a complete way of life, what you believe, do, say, your social, political, personal and business lives all hv rules to follow in Islam. Rules that make you a better person and an asset to society. This is why Islam is a complete way of life, it caters for and gives you divine guidelines for every moment in your life. That is why Allah says in the Quran, 'today i have perfected for your way of life and completed my bounties upon you and am pleased that Islam should be your way of life,' thus Islam is the way of life that pleases our Creator and any way of life that conflicts with it displeases Him. May Allah grant us all the strenght to practise Islam at all times and die upon Imaan (faith). Ameen
